My Math Academy & My Reading Academy Accessibilty Statement
At Age of Learning we are committed to providing technology that empowers all students to learn and thrive. Our solutions My Math Academy® and My Reading Academy™, provide young learners with highly engaging, personalized adaptive learning programs in early math and literacy skills, respectively. Both programs are designed to support learners’ diverse cognitive abilities, social and emotional needs, and personal backgrounds, including accessibility.
To address accessibility, our team draws upon the strength of the market leader in digital accessibility, Level Access, who brings over 20 years of expertise evaluating and providing digital accessibility solutions and services. We have partnered with Level Access since 2019 to perform audits of our products and to guide our accessibility roadmap.
Our lifecycle for developing products and educational technology follows universal design for learning guidelines, and includes steps for systematically following web accessibility guidelines using leading industry-recognized accessibility practices, testing tools, and methodologies, monitoring and maintaining the these technologies with the Level Access platform, and verifying that our solutions can be used in the real world by people with disabilities with adequate documentation, training, and support.
We utilize a comprehensive accessibility testing approach that includes automated testing using state-of-the-art toolsets, manual testing against the leading industry practices, and functional testing using assistive technology tools, such as (1) a screen reader, (2) speech input software, and (3) screen magnification software. We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level A and level AA success criteria and the original and revised Section 508 standards as applicable.

Age of Learning and our program ABCmouse.com® Early Learning Academy provide young learners, their families, and teachers with highly engaging and effective educational experiences to bring learning to life. Age of Learning’s mission is to help all children build a strong foundation for academic success. Core to that purpose is enhancing the accessibility of our web and mobile platforms for children and adults. We are currently enhancing the accessibility of our web and mobile platforms in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Levels A and AA. We also look to the Department of Justice’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design, and other accessibility sources to guide us in improving accessibility.
As part of our efforts, we have worked with the American Council of the Blind to improve accessibility for blind and visually impaired individuals. We have also partnered with leading accessibility and inclusivity company Level Access to further all of our accessibility enhancements. Their Accessibility Program evaluated and audited our digital products and is supported by a diverse team of accessibility professionals, including users of assistive technologies.

Age of Learning and our educational massively multiplayer online game Adventure Academy™ bring learning to life for elementary and middle school age students while building critical knowledge of language arts, math, science, and social studies. Age of Learning’s mission is to help all children build a strong foundation for academic success. Core to that purpose is ensuring our digital products are accessible to all children and adults across web and mobile platforms. We are currently enhancing the accessibility of our products in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
