Dr. Bang leads the development and management of Age of Learning’s efficacy research strategy, including the design and supervision of both quantitative and qualitative studies.
In her nearly 20 years of high-level experience in education and research in the U.S., U.K., France, and South Korea, Dr. Bang has held research-related positions at nonprofits such as the William T. Grant Foundation and the National Writing Project, universities such as NYU, and for-profit companies such as Amplify Education. Prior to joining Age of Learning, she was Founding Researcher at Shebang, Inc., a think tank focused on using research to create solutions to social problems.
Dr. Bang has authored or co-authored more than 15 studies and other academic publications and has earned a BA with Honors from Oxford University, an MEd from Harvard University, and a PhD in Education from NYU.
